About Me
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-D) with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. I’m trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and I use an integrative style, meaning I tailor our work to fit what you need, because therapy is never one-size-fits-all.
I specialize in working with women living with type 1 diabetes who are feeling burnt out, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Managing a chronic illness can be exhausting, both mentally and emotionally, and my goal is to help you create space for compassion, understanding, and growth.
I have a background in a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient setting, providing therapy and crisis intervention for individuals facing a wide range of challenges.
I believe the relationship you build with your therapist is the heart of the work, it’s what makes change possible. In session, you can expect honesty, warmth, and a balance of reflection and practical tools to help you move forward.
